Description: There are 13 skulls within the game. Their locations are as follows.
The Pillar of Autumn
Name: Iron
Description: Death carries a heavy price. Dying in co-op resets you at your last saved checkpoint. Dying solo restarts the level.
Location: Just as you emerge from your cryo-chamber, draw your attention to the two barrels towards the back of the room to the left. Behind them you should find the skull.
Halo
Name: Mythic
Description:All Covenant AI have twice the health. All Sentinels have energy shields.
Location: Found towards the beginning of the level hidden behind the rock right of the waterfall.
Name: Boom
Description:Explosions have twice the damage radius. Light fuse, run away.
Location: Just before the entrance to the underground tunnel there is a path to the right of the hill. At the end of this path you should find the skull.
Truth and Reconciliation
Name: Foreign
Description:Covenant weapons: How do they work? Player cannot pick up or use Covenant weapons.
Location: Once inside the shuttle bay of the Covenant Battle Cruiser, head over towards the door within the far right corner of the room. If you wait long enough a group of Covenant should emerge followed by two hunters. Quickly head inside while it remains open to grab the skull.
The Silent Cartographer
Name: Famine
Description:Weapons dropped by AI have half the ammo they normally would. You might want to pack an extra magazine.
Location: As you descend from the Pelican dropship immediately turn around and continue in the direction opposite of the marines. Eventually you should come across a large rock formation. Make your way to the top of the formation to retrieve skull.
Name: Bandanna
Description:Infinite Ammo.
Location: Once you arrive at the security station proceed over towards the room which yeilds holo-panel. Head through the passage right of the holo-panal and draw your attention to the walkway above. To reach this skull you’ll need a boost. You’ll have to make due using either the impact of a grenade or in this case a rocket launcher. Before attempting the jump, head back outside and down to the Pelican below. There you should find a rocket launcher.
Make your way back up to the station and grab overshield to the left of its entrance. When ready, position yourself opposite the ledge, and run backwards. Shoot the ground while in midair still in backwards motion. Once atop the ledge, claim the Bandana Skull at the end of the walkway.
Assault on the Control Room
Name: Fog
Description:The motion tracker is disabled. You'll miss those eyes in the back of your head.
Location: Found within the structure of the second room of the level. To reach this skull you must do a grenade jump. Stand upon the platform facing the opening of the structure and throw a frag grenade directly on the ground. A half a second from throwing the grenade, jump towards the next platform using impact of the grenade as a boost. Now head inside the structure to retrieve the skull.
Name: Malfunction
Description:Auto aim features disabled for all weapons. You'll miss it when its gone.
Location: Found upon the lower right rail of the underground tunnel.
343 Guilty Spark
Name: Recession
Description: Every shot is worth twice the ammo. Save those bullets, playa.
Location: From the Pelican dropship, turn around and make your way across the opposite end of the pond. Behind the last tree to the left of the pond lies the skull.
The Library
Name: Black Eye
Description: Your shields only recharge when you melee enemies. Bash your way to better health.
Location: At the end of the first corridor, look up and draw your attention to the second alcove to the right. Do a grenade jump to retrieve the skull from within.
Name: Eye Patch
Description: Auto aim features disabled for all weapons. You'll miss it when it's gone.
Location: Towards the end of the level there will be a door that will lead to the Index. Head all the way to the right side of the room and you should come across the Eye Patch Skull.
Two Betrayals
Name: Piñata
Description: Punching enemies makes them drop grenades. Beat them 'til candy comes out!
Location: Just after destroying the second chasm, use the ghost parked outside to retrieve the banshee from the opposite side of the canyon. Fly past your objective mark and land onto the roof of the underground passage to find the Piñata Skull.
The Maw
Name: Grunt Birthday Party
Description: Kill a grunt with a headshot and see a spray of confetti, to the delight of children everywhere.
Location: While awaiting the arrival of Foehammer on the bridge, park your Warthog against the base of the rail to the right. Now use it as a platform to reach the skull from above.
