Chapter 5-1

Walk right, around the center staircase over to the ledge overlooking the bridge. Right under the bridge lies BSAA Emblem #23. Return to the south end of the garden and head up the stairs. Cross the bridge and call over Sheva to open the door.

Once inside the laboratory, grab the green herb on the crate and open the door to the next room. After the cutscene, grab the shotgun ammo on the shelf and exit through the door to the right. Open the door to the next room and pull down on the lever to unveil the glass windows. Run past the animal cages and make a left into the next room. Right when the Licker breaks through the glass, put it on its back with a shotgun blast. Run over to the licker and stab him in the heart for the instant kill. Rinse and repeat for the second Licker and collect the Lion Heart that's left behind. Open the door to the next area. Head up the stairs and call over Sheva to open the exit door.

Head down the hallway and make a right into the door to the monitor room. Grab the AK-47 inside the metal case. Go up the stairs and quietly make your way past the group of Lickers. Knock down the door and run over to the end of the hallway to the elevator. Hold off the Lickers as best you can with hand grenades and a strong machine gun until the elevator arrives.

Exit the elevator and grab the handgun ammo, machine gun ammo, shotgun ammo, hand grenade on the shelf. Head over to the circular platform. Towards the end of the cutscene, be ready to dodge the spiders attack by pressing L + R.

This bossfight is extremely simple. Shoot the glowing orb on the spider's legs causing him to collapse to the floor. Run over to its mouth and shove a hand grenade down its mouth. Repeat this process two more times and this fight will be over before you know it.
